So what is good about Good Friday? Well, in a nutshell, Good Friday is 'good' because of the good work accomplished by Jesus on this Good Friday long ago. It is good because by God's grace Jesus established a 'New Covenant' (1 Corinthians 11:25) whereby we become forever both his friends and daughters and sons of our loving Abba.
