For over 30 years we have served our community of Weston proudly by organizing a food drive that collects food from residents and is distributed by WAES (Weston Area Emergency Service) Food Bank.  This event brings together 100+ volunteers who will staple flyers, drop the bags at homes, and then on our Food Drive day, collect, sort and box food.

In recent years we have increased the publicity of this event, including annual interviews on RogersTV, newspaper articles and in 2015, a visit from the Mayor of Toronto, John Tory.  We continue to work with wonderful community partners like Atlantic Packaging, Molson Coors, RogersTV and Chronos Marketing to make this event a success.

The collective effort of volunteers from our church and the generous contributions from the Weston neighbourhood assists 330+ families each year and while the need continues to grow, so does the effort and the record number of collections.  Our Food Drive Committee works hard each year to plan, prepare and effectively deliver an organized effort toward this service.
