As we begin the year of our Lord 2023 let's consider the essential theme of Jesus as the Trailblazer of our salvation. Jesus paves the way for our spiritual growth and destiny. It is Jesus who overcomes the power of death and delivers us from the fear of its snares. Yet, we have a tendency to lose track of this amazing gift and focus on things far less consequential. We drift away like a boat losing its anchor in a strong current. The Preacher's word to us is to "Wake up! Stay alert! Do not lose the incredible gift of your salvation." To that end may we keep centered on what is most important and live out a strong union with Jesus as our Leader and Pathfinder.
