God builds the universe even as we build a house. Both with planning, skill and wisdom. Both are done in time an over time – step by step with intelligence, grace and care. A difference is that God remains forever faithful in his building exercise while we frequently become frustrated and fatigued by the demands of construction. May we receive Solomon’s wisdom on “how to build our house well” even as our Lord builds (and sustains) the cosmos.
