We would like the church family to be aware of the actions being taken by the church in response to the COVID-19 virus. We have consulted the Toronto Public Health websites the CBOQ leadership team.

For the time-being, the church deacons and pastors have decided to cancel meeting for worship services in order to minimize the risks of spreading the virus. The leaders will monitor the situation on a weekly basis and information will be available by email, the church website and by telephone. If you have not been informed by Friday of the status of the service for the following Sunday, do not hesitate to call the church office.

Sunday Worship will be streamed online at 10:45 each Sunday morning. This can be accessed at our homepage westonparkbaptist.org.

A newsletter is emailed out weekly.  If you would like to be added to that list please type your information in at the bottom of this page.

For Bible School

An online version of our Bible School curriculum is posted each week to our website.  Please take a look Online Bible School.

ADDITIONAL SUPPORT

If you're feeling nervous or anxious about COVID-19, you're not alone. Being concerned about this outbreak is normal.

  • Stick to the facts as communicated by public-health agencies or medical professionals. Up to date information is provided on the Ontario Public Health Department website.
  • Try to keep it in perspective. Social media can amplify misinformation. Keep in mind that there's a concerted global effort to try to contain this virus through the World Health Organization.

FINALLY

Please keep praying for each other as we cope with the many ways this virus is impacting us individually and remember the church family as we seek to wisely plan for future services and ministries.
