Once again the plight of refugees has been raised in our consciousness by the war in Ukraine. We as a church family want to help support the effort to help refugees as they find themselves to be displaced people.
Through our givings we support Toronto's Adam House, a place where Christians reach out to refugees when they arrive in Canada.
In addition, the church agreed to send $5000 through CBM (Canadian Baptist Missions) to the churches in Poland, Ukraine & Romania who need support as they have opened their doors to the Ukraine refugees. [Click to learn more about CBM's work]
