As a church family, we are prayerfully discerning individuals whom God may be calling to serve in leadership among us.

Elders
Rooted in passages such as 1 Timothy 3 and Titus 1, elders are called to provide spiritual leadership through shepherding, teaching, and hospitality. This role is for those who demonstrate spiritual maturity, a life of integrity, faithfulness in their beliefs and a deep love for the church. Elders care for the spiritual health of the church, helping us remain rooted in Christ and attentive to the leading of the Spirit.

Deacons
As modeled in Acts 6 and 1 Timothy 3, deacons serve in a governance role, providing oversight, wisdom, and accountability for the life and direction of the church. Rather than focusing on day to day ministry, deacons help ensure that our church is well led, well resourced, and aligned with our mission. This role is for those who are spiritually mature, discerning, dependable, and able to lead with humility, unity, and good judgment.

If you sense that God may be leading you toward one of these roles, or if you would like to learn more, we invite you to speak with a member of the Deacons or Ministry team. We would be glad to pray with you and walk alongside you in that discernment.
