We have learned of a second positive case of COVID-19 was identified yesterday, Dec. 22, in an individual who attended the Weston Park Baptist Church worship service on December 19th. We are working closely with the Toronto Public Health guidelines as we move forward. Those who were in direct contact with this individual have been contacted. This person will not return to the church until cleared.

The health and safety of everyone who enters the doors of WPBC is our top priority. As stated earlier this week we are taking the precautionary measure of cancelling in-person worship this Sunday December 26th. We will continue to monitor the situation and make a week-by-week assessment.

Our outdoor Carol service, "Christmas Under the Stars", this evening remains unaffected and will take place at 6:30PM in the church parking lot. As a precaution we will request that all in attendance wear face masks, maintain physical distance and food will not be served.

To accommodate those who would like to drop off their year-end offering or regular Sunday giving, John Frogley Rawson will be at the church in-person this Sunday December 26th from 10:45–11:30AM to receive these gifts.

WPBC leadership team will continue to monitor the situation and will keep you updated on any further precautions, actions or information required. Should you have any questions, please contact the church (416-241-3861) or email darlenelynnlucas@gmail.com.

We appreciate your understanding and collaboration in maintaining a safe environment for our church community. Let’s continue to pray for another.

Blessings,

"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful I know that full well."
