Psalm 19 is a hymn of praise for both God's creation and for his written word. As an artist's person is revealed in her art so God is made known through his magnificent creation. More so, the character and attributes of our Creator God are spelled out in his holy word so that we can understand who he is and what he has done for us. Together, the portrait of God's handiwork and the sacred page present the divine objective to create a holy people who live in a loving relationship with God himself and who demonstrate a tangible love for others on planet earth.
