worshipping
Come, worship Jesus Christ together each Sunday morning. Be enlivened through word, music, prayer, art, fellowship.
Sunday a.m.
Sunday morning worship at Weston Park begins at 10:45 AM. For 90 or so minutes we combine a variety of styles and modes of worship to encourage, challenge, refresh and engage one another in living our faith. Everyone is wecome to this service and encouraged to join in as each feels comfortable.
Music is an integral part of Weston Park’s worship experience. We embrace the richness of hymns and the enthusiasm of contemporary songs to offer praise to God. The Praise team and Worship Leaders lead everyone in a meaningful, thought provoking opportunity to engage with God.
Listening and reflecting on God’s Word is at the heart of our worship. And so in our time together we consider a theme as revealed through scripture. Prayer, the reading of scripture, a word of teaching and challenge are important features of our worship that help us to focus on God in the midst of easily distracted lives.

art …
Recognizing the importance of our surroundings in assisting our hearts in worship, we value the presence of the visual arts throughout our sanctuary. Sharon Tiessen is our Artist in Residence and offers much of her own work to encourage and engage us.
Sharon offers a blog … “Worship Juice” as a means to share some of her thoughts on Art and Worship. Join in on her blog right here.
The nursery is open each Sunday to care for children up to the age of three during the worship service. A variety of volunteers are involved in this ministry which gives parents an opportunity to worship with the confidence that their child is well cared for.
Children’s Bible School runs during the Sunday morning Worship service from about 11:15 AM to 12:15. The children are called forward during the service to go out for a time of Bible teaching with other kids their age. Classes are provided for all children from kindergarten to grade 8. Volunteer teachers lead once per month.
