Giving

If you are interested in sharing in the ministry of Weston Park Baptist Church here are a few ways that you may  donate.

  1. Donate Online Through Canada Helps:  We have partnered with CanadaHelps to process online donations for the work that our community engages in.   To donate online click on the button below and it will take you to our giving page.
    Donate Now
Once in Canada Helps: Select the amount and frequency of your donation and follow the prompts provided.

  2. Give using Pre-authorized payments:  This method is helpful if you wish to give on a regular basis.  At the present time we are able to offer a monthly donation option which would be automatically withdrawn from your bank account on your choice of the 2nd or 16th of each month.  If you would like us to set up Pre-authorized payments for you, please contact Cheryl Frogley-Rawson in the church office ([email protected] or 416-241-3861).

A completed Pre-authorized Payment Agreement form is required to set up your offering. This form is available for download at the bottom of this page.  Please fill it out and return to Cheryl Frogley-Rawson ([email protected] or 416-241-3861).

If at some point you would like to change or cancel these payments, please contact Cheryl Frogley-Rawson in the church office ([email protected] or 416-241-3861) with the details of the change.  One month's notice is required to make the change/cancelation effective.

Donation Tax receipts are made once a year for all donations received in the calendar year and are distributed in February of the following year.

  3. Give using Personal envelopes:  Personal boxed envelopes are helpful for donating by cheque (payable to Weston Park Baptist Church) or cash through the Sunday morning offering.  This method allows for donations to be shared anonymously.  Personal envelopes are available from our Envelope Steward, Murlene Heron.  If you would like a box, please contact Murlene ([email protected]).

Donation Tax receipts are made once a year for all donations received in the calendar year and are distributed in February of the following year.

  4. Sunday Morning Offering Plate: Each Sunday morning during worship offering plates are passed around for the opportunity to share through cash or cheques (payable to Weston Park Baptist Church).  Envelopes are available in the pews which need to be filled out completely and clearly in order for a donation tax receipt to be issued for the amount given.

Questions

How will my donations be used?

Weston Park operates through the generous donations and offerings received from our donors.  The funds received for General ministry are allocated according to our yearly budget commitments.

If any designated funds are received they will be used for the purposes designated until the need is either met or cannot be completed for any reason, at which time all remaining funds designated for that purpose will be used for other approved programs or budget items at the discretion of the church Deacons' board.  Donated funds will not be returned to the donor.

Who will have access to my personal information?

Only those church members who require your information for tax receipting or communication purposes. All donations are kept in strict confidence and only those who require personal information in order to carry out their duties will have access to the confidential records.

If you have further questions please contact the church office  ([email protected] or 416-241-3861).
